Timeless Engagement Session at Carnegie Mellon Columns and North Shore | Cody & Dennis


There’s something about Pittsburgh that feels like the perfect backdrop for love stories — timeless, welcoming, and full of charm.

Cody and Dennis’s engagement session captured all of that and more, mixing elegant architecture with relaxed, playful moments that made this day unforgettable. A Classic Start at Carnegie Mellon’s Columns


We began Cody and Dennis’s engagement session at the stunning Carnegie Mellon columns, an iconic Pittsburgh landmark known for its soaring architecture and elegant stonework. Dressed sharply in sleek black suits, Cody and Dennis looked incredible — polished yet completely at ease with one another. The neutral backdrop of the columns added a touch of grandeur to their love story, creating a setting that felt both timeless and modern.

They laughed, held hands, and stole quiet moments on the grand staircases, letting their connection shine through every frame. Their natural chemistry made every photo feel effortless — a perfect mix of romance, fun, and authenticity.

Champagne Picnics and North Shore Views

After our time at the columns, we moved to the North Shore by the river, just as the golden hour light began to settle over the city.

Switching into more casual outfits — soft button-downs and crisp white pants — Cody and Dennis shared a cozy champagne picnic overlooking the skyline. The laughter was easy, the kisses natural, and the energy contagious. They toasted with champagne glasses, cuddled close as the sun dipped lower, and wandered hand-in-hand along the riverbanks. The city skyline behind them, paired with the soft grass and warm light, created a dreamy setting that balanced both sophistication and playfulness.

What made this session so special was how true Cody and Dennis were to themselves.

Whether suited up among towering columns or barefoot on a blanket with a glass of champagne, they brought a joy and comfort that made every image feel real.
